Santa's Grotto 2020

Visit Santa...

  • Open 28th November 11am-2pm (weekends only)
  • Daily from Saturday 19th December 11am-2pm 
  • (more times slot will be added on demand)
No festivities would be complete without Santa and visitors to SeaQuarium will not be disappointed as Father Christmas makes a welcome return back to his grotto. Children can visit Santa in his cosy christmas grotto and receive an early Christmas gift!  There will be some changes from previous years - to ensure that all visits to Santa will be social distancing.  
 
  • Elf and Safety Covid secure in our grotto. 
  • Online Booking for Santa's Grotto: Tickets must be booked online in order to meet Santa in his Christmas Grotto, See our Q&A if you have questions.
  • Due to government guidelines and the safety measures we have put in place, we have significantly less Santa tickets than in previous years and therefore advise booking tickets early to avoid disappointment.
  • Keep checking back on our facebook and website for more tickets to be released!

Fantastic news - the SeaQuarium and Seal Cove is now fully open with all exhibits accessible, social distancing markers and a one-way access all the way through, plus hand sanitiser stations! ๐Ÿ‘

We advise our visitors to wear their own PPE and capacity is still reduced, Book your time slots and enjoy!!

SeaQuarium Seal Cove is Open to the Public from 6th July!

We take the safety of our customers and our team members very seriously. Upon reopening, we have established time blocks with limited capacity for guest visits, new cleaning and sanitation protocols, and updated processes to ensure the SeaQuarium is operating in accordance with the advice of the Welsh governments.
 
Please note: Whilst our Seal Cove exhibit will be open, the rest of the aquarium is currently closed. 
 
We cant wait to welcome you back to Rhyl SeaQuarium on the beautiful coast in North Wales. 


Thank you for your incredible support for the during these difficult times.
Here are a few things to expect when you visit the SeaQuarium:
 
• Tickets are only available online
• Tickets must be purchased in advance of your visit
• Time blocks for visits
• Temperature scans upon entry may occur 
• Masks are strongly encouraged

We are continuing to monitor the ongoing situation around Covid-19, and when we do reopen to the public, it will be with measures in place to ensure we are following social distancing guidelines and with significant restrictions when visiting, including booking tickets in advance.
